TAPA Tots Ballet & Tap
A fabulous, fun introduction to ballet and tap, perfect for pre-schoolers. This is a fun and imaginative class and the children love the stories we use to go with the movements! Through fun and stories we develop musicality, technique and confidence with our very youngest dancers.
TAPA Juniors
Our Juniors class incorporates elements of ballet, tap and commercial in a fun and expressive way. The students have the opportunity to take IDTA Rosettes in all genres to introduce them to dance exams. This class is high energy, full of imaginative ways of teaching dance and lots of fun!
ISTD Modern Grades
We follow the ISTD Modern Theatre syllabus from Primary upwards. Our graded classes work towards their graded examinations and we have an excellent reputation in these exams with 100% pass rate.
ISTD Tap Grades
We also follow the ISTD for our Tap syllabus starting from Primary and working up through the grades. The students work on their technique, performance and dance quality within these classes. Again we have a 100% pass rate with the ISTD.
TAPA Young Performers
Within the dance section of Young Performers we work on a more generic dance level. The class is split into sections comprising of warm ups, working and increasing on flexibility and strength and also learning dance routines to different styles and genres. Students now also have the opportunity to take commerical IDTA exams as a solo, duet or group within our Young Performers programme.
TAPA Seniors
Our Seniors programme is more advanced and follows a progressive step up from Young Performers. The class is again split into sections comprising of warm ups, working and increasing on flexibility and strength and also learning dance routines to different styles and genres. Students now also have the opportunity to take commerical IDTA exams as a solo, duet or group within Seniors.
